Sherbro International Airport (IATA: BTE, ICAO: GFBN) is a newly constructed international airport located in the coastal town of Sherbro Island, Sierra Leone. It is one of the two major airports for domestic and international flights to and from Sierra Leone. The airport is operated by the Sierra Leonean Airports Authority.
There are currently plans to construct a new airport runway on Sherbro Island. The new runway will be part of a new development programme for the island and will enable the airport to accommodate commercial aircraft from destinations around the world.
